In depth

Verdict

Grimsthorpe Castle finally opened his account with a victory over track and trip and carries 6lb extra. FORTULTOUS is less exposed and, after finishing second to the progressive Beat The Heat over course and distance on only his second start handicapping, Tony Carroll’s charge can land this. There was little between Peerless Percy and Amourie when filling the places at Newcastle while Celtic Classic posted one of his better efforts at Wolverhampton last time. Atalanta Queen has gone close over a shorter trips here but has plenty to prove over this far.
