Verdict
Ice Station Zebra has been in good form on Turf and went close at Windsor last month while Lucky Lucky Man scored in testing going at Catterick and will likely handle the Fibresand. Nubough has been thereabouts at Newcastle and Zapper Cass has won here before while Shallow Hal scored over track and trip recently but is 7lb higher. CROSSE FIRE may not be the force of old but has recorded 13 of his 15 wins so far on this surface and has slipped down the weights. He was beaten less than a length here earlier this week and Scott Dixon’s charge looks set for a return to winning ways.
