Gordon Elliott wastes no time bringing out MARTIN SCRUFF out after a facile victory when heavily supported at Thurles last week. The five-year-old was having his first start for the yard that day and scored with such ease that the handicapper will raise him much more than the 4lb penalty he carries here. Several of his opponents are running well without winning including Andrea's Answer, who has produced three cracking efforts in tough handicaps and continues to climb the weights.
