Verdict

Fergiethelegend followed a surprise victory at Gowran with a decent run in a better race at Fairyhouse but may prefer softer ground. Boss Croaker got off the mark over fences at Fairyhouse and though 5lb higher he's still on a good mark compared to his hurdles rating. LE GRAND CHENE was having just his second start for Gordon Elliott since transferring from the UK when scoring at Downpatrick last week. He's up 5lb and wouldn't want the ground to dry out but can improve further and take this. Town Pond showed his battling qualities when holding off Ardmillan at Downpatrick and is still at the right end of the weights.
