Verdict

Henry De Bromhead has won the last two of these with odds-on chances and Trainwreck should come in for support on his chasing bow as he did very well over hurdles, though has never raced on ground this quick. He was beaten half-a-length by Them And Us when conceding 1lb on this track in December though that was on heavy going and it will be interesting to see how they fare over fences on much quicker ground. The latter was conceding 4lb to DUCA DE THAIX when beaten just over two lengths at Limerick a couple of weeks later, again on very testing ground, so Gordon Elliott's charge just gets the nod though all three are the types to do very well over fences this campaign. Kildorrery has a fitness advantage and showed he acts on the going when scoring at Kilbeggan last month so he's no forlorn hope on his chasing bow but the remaining pair look to have plenty to find.
