Verdict

Jamie Codd tried new tactics on Miss Aloud at Clonmel, forcing the pace from the start and having most of her rivals at full stretch but she had no answer when the odds-on Northern Belle quickened past and had to settle for third. The winner's yard is represented by Royal Illusion, a daughter of King's Theatre out of a winning hurdler and she'll make a bold bid. Point-to-point winner Wait For No One ran very well when runner-up at Galway though looked in need of softer ground than she'll get here while Vic's Little Miss has had plenty of chances, though would have found Listed company beyond her at Gowran last time. GHURBA has much more speed in her pedigree than most of these and is an interesting newcomer for Noel Meade. Ground conditions will be in her favour and she's taken to make a winning start.
