Verdict

Bal De Rio has twice finished second at Dundalk since occupying the same position over hurdles at Limerick but is still penalised for his Flat victories. THE BROGHIE MAN couldn't cope with Whatsnotoknow at Thurles but was conceding 8lb and the remainder were a long way behind so that could be good enough. Goaheadwiththeplan made a fair start over timber at Navan and should be winning soon while All About Joe caught the eye in no uncertain manner at Fairyhouse. Elusive Rebeldom showed potential in bumpers but was beaten a long way on his hurdling debut at Cork.
