In depth

Verdict

Tom Mullins has begun the meeting in tremendous style and won this last year with Dr Whizz so Bob Lingo has an obvious chance after his victory over Foildubh at Fairyhouse. Uncle Tom Cobley, almost 10l behind that day, rarely wins and is very closely matched with Senior Again on their run at Leopardstown in January when the latter just held off his rival. The Sneezer had Senior Again well behind at Gowran last month but ran very poorly behind Bob Lingo as did Peak Raider. King Edmund has a big weight but is no forlorn hope after a fine effort in the Grand Annual but in a race where several of the runners have been beating each other LAST TIME D'ALBAIN, a fine second to Lucky William at Fairyhouse, is handed the vote.
