Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Atlantic Shore has been highly tried in his two recent starts and can improve as can Foxy Jacks, who found 2m too short on his return to action here ten days ago. Momus was placed six times last winter before a moderate final run and would be an obvious threat on his earlier form while Oscar Montel looked a real staying type when just touched off over this trip at Thurles and further rain would aid his cause. Willie Mullins holds a strong hand with MINELLA ENCORE and Drury. The latter, a winning bumper, has shown plenty of potential and receives the mares' allowance but it's the former, who returns from a long absence, who looks the pick. He would have been unbeaten between the flags but for a fall at Borris House and won two minor bumpers before beaten in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown.
