MENGLI KHAN isn't bred for chasing but nor was he for hurdles yet he still managed to win the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse in December. He's a powerfully-built type who should take to fences and looks potentially a very smart recruit. Winning point-to-pointer and dual hurdles winner Trainwreck might have made a winning start over fences here last month but for unseating his rider two out. He then ran well in a very strong beginners' event at Navan and looks certain to give a good account. Forge Meadow is very useful over hurdles with Grade 2 and Grade 3 victories to her credit. She'll have come on a bundle for her chasing debut at Galway where a couple of slight mistakes put paid to her chances and she'll be winning soon. Princely Conn, a very close third in the 2016 Galway Hurdle, returns after a long break and makes a belated debut over the bigger obstacles.
