Verdict

Judgement Day jumps and stays well and acts on any going. He has penalties to carry here but will take plenty of catching if Rachael Blackmore tries to make all on him. POLI ROI did well over hurdles but chasing will be his game judging on an impressive debut at Fairyhouse where he cruised home on the bridle - he looks one to follow until beaten. Kildorrery has the advantage of a course victory to his credit and though that was over the minimum he's won over this trip over hurdles so should go well. Quamino, who is only moderate over hurdles, is already much better over fences having won very easily at Fairyhouse last month while the lightly-raced Shady Operator is the type to win races this campaign though he hasn't run since April. Alletrix was placed in a Grade 1 mares' race over hurdles on the latter track and is another to note in an interesting race.
