In depth

Verdict

Both Willie Mullins and Denise Foster are doubly represented. The former's best option looks to be Sapphire Lady, a dual hurdles winner who made a successful debut over fences before a poor run in a Cork Grade 3 where she stopped quickly after a bad mistake. She can bounce back while Felicidad heads the Foster duo after an impressive chasing bow at Kilbeggan before a decent run in a Listed contest over timber at Killarney. However, the form pick has to be ABBEY MAGIC, who won four of her first five starts over fences and has been competing at a high level subsequently finishing third in a Grade B handicap over an extra furlong here last month when Contingency was beaten a long way.
