In depth

Verdict

Official ratings suggest this is a battle of the veterans Beckermet and TAJNEED. The former ran 21 times last year, winning once over 7f on heavy ground at Doncaster. He's almost always needed a couple of runs to put him straight, however, though usually they have been at a much higher level. The latter regularly performed from a mark in the 100s in his day, won two claimers last season and hopefully will be the more forward of the pair so gets the nod. Go Green's last two victories have come at this level but the slow-starting Dickie Le Davoir has a mountain to climb conceding lumps of weight all round.
