Viva Voce is on the same mark as when gaining his only victory to date here in September though that was over 6f. Bankawi had been in good form before a moderate effort at Ayr where he pulled too hard. Glengarry is a consistent performer who should be thereabouts while GLOBAL EXCEED is 2lb lower than when scoring here a year ago on fast ground. The latter gets the nod as Martin's Brig is yet to win though ran a bit better at Beverley while The Retriever is a Southwell specialist.
