Jalamid is taken to get the better of Granston and Jubilee Street in this competitive contest. The selection won well last time over the straight mile when defeating Calcutta here in August. He was fitted with a tongue -tie that day which seemed to help him, and as it is on again today we are happy to make him our tentative choice. Granston rates the main danger and he could not be in better form. He has won each of his last two races, and in his current mood he is entitled to go close again today. Jubilee Street is another who won well last time but his best form is over 7f and in this competitive event we are happy to take him on today. Hartshead has not been at his best of late but he is a course and distance winner and at the likely odds he should represent good each-way value. Sawwaah is in good form at present and is another to consider, but for the winner we are happy to stick with Jalamid.
