Verdict

PISANELLO (NAP) has spent most of the season making life difficult for himself but this straight mile is probably his optimum trip -and he has ground conditions to suit. He would probably have won here last time but for a tardy stalls exit and is worth another throw of the dice after being nudged down a pound for that run. The course and distance winner Diamondonthehill has top weight but is tough and consistent while Star Shield has every chance as he's forgiven an unusually poor effort latest and Give It Some Teddy cannot be discounted off an increasingly attractive mark.
