      Verdict

      PAINTED TAIL ended last year with a second over 1m4f but she'd scored over a shorter trip on the Polytrack before that and is taken to make a winning reappearance in this company. Scatter Dice makes her handicap bow after three placed efforts on the all-weather this year and may figure, while Reset City is more exposed but ran well enough on her return to action at Wolverhampton last month and is Jamie Spencer's only ride of the meeting. Southwell 7f winner Sweetnessandlight steps up in trip and class here but still makes most appeal of the remaining runners.
