        Battle Green Lad Looks very moderate indeed.

        Bergen (IRE) Claims on official BHB ratings but stable's horses have been slow to come to hand this season; opposable at forecast odds.

        Big Issue Lightly raced and open to improvement; disappointed on only start last season though and may have had his problems.

        Birchwood Sun Genuine 11-year-old plater who appreciates cut in the ground; won this under Kevin Darley in 1998 and looks to have every chance of doing so again.

        Blushing Grenadier (IRE) Claims on best but has shown little on the all-weather this winter.

        Borofan Looks stable second-string on jockey bookings and form.

        Carnage (IRE) Still a maiden and not a great deal of encouragement from reappearance in Folkestone handicap.

        Cynosure Very moderate on evidence to-date.

        Diamond Decorum (IRE) Poor win record (3 from 36 starts) and has not been sparkling on the all-weather this winter; may appreciate the return to turf but looks exposed.

        Fas Still a maiden after 20 starts and no reason why that should change here.

        Magic Mill (IRE) Does not win very often but has ability; claims if fit enough for first start of the season.

        Rambo Nine Only moderate plater.

        Tancred Arms Not as good as he once was but still retains some ability (recent winner at Southwell); has a bit to find on official ratings but does go on the ground and should be thereabouts.

        Lady Lauren Poor plater on all known evidence.

        Mai Tai (IRE) Inconsistent and seemingly out of her depth.

        Napier Star Only moderate plater.

        Sea Isle Looks to have regressed; but should not be discounted lightly.

        City Bank Dudley Difficult to fancy on all known form.

        Up In Flames (IRE) Handles cut in the ground but has plenty on at the weights on official BHB ratings.
