      Verdict

      Gold Stone has a very nice pedigree and was picked up for £45,000 as a yearling which looked money well spent when she scored at Beverley in August. PRETTY BABY made a very encouraging debut at York then easily landed the odds at Chelmsford. There's much more to come from her and she can make a winning return. Queen Penn ran well against strong opposition before getting off the mark at Hamilton and Richard Fahey's grey should win races this campaign. Angel's Glory stayed on well over this trip on heavy going on her debut at Haydock but didn't appear to last out another furlong at Newmarket later. Left Alone looked a speedy performer in her first starts over this trip then just failed to hold on over 7f at Newmarket.
