    Verdict

Only 3lb separates the seven runners on official ratings. Khaloosy easily landed the Britannia Handicap at Ascot and has started a short-priced favourite in Group 3's at Goodwood and Haydock but has pulled much too hard in both. MY OBERON has finished in front of him in both of those races and there doesn't look any obvious reason why he shouldn't do so again so gets the vote. Both easily hold Qayser on that Haydock run but Ostilio won the Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein at this time two years ago and was gaining his first subsequent victory when landing a conditions' race at Haydock. Vale Of Kent landed a Newmarket handicap last week and is up to this level while neither of the remaining pair can easily be dismissed.
