In depth

Verdict

Less than half of this field have racecourse experience and most of the newcomers will likely do better with another winter on their backs. LE CHEVAL RAPIDE can take advantage and make it third-time lucky after again over course and distance last time when only headed in the shadows of the post. Bill Peyto was no match for Existent at Newmarket but, like Desert Boots and Umm Hurair, will have benefited from the outing. Wizard D'Amour is a full brother to a winner and cost 200,000gns so may be most interesting of the debutants.
