Verdict
Like A Lion is on a lower mark than when last successful and drops into this grade for the first time. King Carney scored at Newcastle in February but has struggled in two subsequent runs there while Butterfly Island is 0-17. LITTLE JO has managed to win seven races and has been racing in Class 5 handicaps since beaten a neck on heavy ground here in November so gets the vote as Bay Dream Believer has beaten only one home in her last three starts while Positive Force has been in poor form. Give Grace finished runner-up in a course and distance seller in October though that was on very heavy ground.
