    Verdict

HENRY BEE has had a number of chances already with five places in eight runs. He was way below his best last time in a Ripon handicap and it's interesting that connections now reach for first-time blinkers. However, this does look a strong opportunity on the formbook and he's afforded another chance in the hope the headgear has a galvanising effect. Nevertheless, a major danger looms in the form of Ptolemy. The Barron colt shaped well when making steady late progress in All Or Nothin's Chester maiden and further progress seems assured. Compton Time may also improve on a mid-division finish on his Pontefract debut.
