          Budelli (IRE) Second to Pips Magic at Doncaster in July but his best performances have come in lesser grade.

          Flint River Yet to show any of his juvenile promise.

          Beyond Calculation (USA) In decent form and looks to be the preferred choice of the Milton Bradley team.

          Friar Tuck Has been in no sort of form this year but he is coming back to a winning mark here.

          Prix Star Prolific this season but has yet to win off a mark this high.

          American Cousin Probably better over 5f than this trip.

          Blessingindisguise Conditions are in his favour and has an outstanding chance if putting best foot forward.

          Red Lion Has ran in better company this term but hasn't troubled the judge too often.

          Tommy Smith Unreliable sprinter; opposed in this grade.

          Dreams Desire Tumbling down the weights but out of form at present.

          Puppet Play (IRE) Looked a little unlucky in running at York on Sunday; could gain compensation here.

          Tancred Times Opposable over today's trip.

          Genial Genie Put in a stout performance to land a gamble at Pontefract over 5f; should handle the six here.

          Safranine (IRE) Tumbled a huge 47lb in a the handicap since last term but hasn't shown the form to take advantage of it.

          Al's Me Trainer Has landed a couple of soft races this season and may struggle against seasoned handicappers.
