Take away the bottom weight and only 4lb separates this field. Shamaheart finished third in last year’s renewal, when well ahead of Abushamah, but Beardwood is usually thereabouts without being good enough and is still looking for that elusive first win in a handicap. PUMAFLOR has yet to win this year but went close over course and distance last time. He finished ahead of Ingleby Angel, Altharoos, Qaffaal and Victoire De Lyphar on that occasion and may find the small amount of improvement needed to get his head back in front with headgear applied for the first time.
