Verdict
Pepper Lane won here earlier on in the year and has put in solid enough efforts in similar races since then. She is harshly evaluated in this contest though with usual jockey James Sullivan taking the ride on BARREN BROOK who is our selection. The pick narrowly lost out to Amenable at Doncaster in his handicap debut last time out and prior to this had shed his maiden tag at Catterick. He has progressed well this term and we side with him to see off the likes of Belinsky, Prince Of Vasa and Fly Silca Fly who have all won already this year. Kakapuka is also a threat but finished plum last for Anabel King last time out and this is enough to deter us.
