        Verdict

        A more competitive race at last and we take Marmooq to be good enough, with Jellytot capable of challenging and both Secret Assassin and Esoterica to battle for the minors. The selection showed the best form in this race when landing an Ayr maiden over this trip at the beginning of the month. Being by Cadeaux Genereux fast ground should suit and he looks the one to beat. Jellytot won a Catterick maiden also over 7f last time, her best effort to date. She may still be capable of better, but has a fair bit to do to be involved at the finish. Secret Assassin is still a maiden but has put up some decent efforts in defeat and goes well at the trip, so can't be totally discounted, while Esoterica keeps finding a couple too good and although he should handle conditions it would a surprise if he proved good enough to beat our selection, Marmooq.
