          Verdict

          A big field handicap to conclude the card and we take Unasuming to return to form and outpoint Taranis, Elite Land and Touch Of Ivory. The selection should enjoy this return to 10f, a trip over which he won at Nottingham on fast ground in handicap company last month. It is true that you have to forgive him his latest start at Lingfield, but this flatter course with longer straights should suit him better and he can get ack to winning ways. Taranis is hugely interesting pitched in over half a mile further than before, coming from the yard of Sir Mark Prescott. The maestro has written the book about getting improvement from horses when making such a switch and market support would surely be significant. Elite Land is still a maiden but went well over c&d last time and fast ground suits, so she can get involved, and Touch Of Ivory should be better suited by this longer trip and with his yard still having winners he may well improve to take a hand. However, Unasuming has ticks in enough boxes to get the nod in the finale.
