Verdict

Safran drops down in trip having placed over a mile at Ripon the last twice. But STRONGBOWE represents last year’s winning yard and wasn’t beaten far when only fifth over today’s distance at Thirsk. Tim Easterby’s charge looks to have an easier task in this and can confirm latest running with both Late Arrival and Harry Love. Asmund was placed yet again when third at Yarmouth and Athollblair Boy still looks high enough in the weights.
