Verdict

Four of these are course and distance winners including The Fiddler, who completed a double when winning this a year ago and is just 2lb higher. The Resdev Way has also won around here and is dropping into this class for the first time since scoring at Yarmouth in May last year. Nearly There is only 1lb higher than when scoring here last summer but the 2017 winner Jan De Heem has been out of form. It's hardly surprising to see BEN LILLY coming here with a 6lb penalty for last week's victory over the trip at Catterick as he won by nine lengths and is likely to be hit hard in the ratings. He won't have soft ground to aid his cause here but had run reasonably well on fast ground at Beverley last month so a quick double looks on the cards. Flash Point is also penalised for an impressive victory at Musselburgh last week and should get into contention, despite a big weight, while Artistic Streak was staying on strongly over Beverley's 1m4f last time.
