In depth
Verdict
This is a very tricky division of the maiden and we like the look of Ahmedy, but Kilbarri, Congressional and Choregraphy can all be expected to play a part. Ahmedy is trained by Mick Channon who has a good line to most of the two-year-old form. This son of Polish Precedent made a very promising debut at Folkestone, just getting pipped by Under My Thumb. He should improve for that effort and will take a great deal of beating. Choregraphy is a newcomer trained by Michael Bell and he looks the part on paper, being a well bred son of Medicean. Meanwhile Congressional, an 80 thousand guineas daughter of Grand Lodge, should improve for her recent Wolverhampton debut. However Kilbarri may be the biggest threat to the selection. Mark Johnston's colt has shown plenty of ability in two races to date and on breeding, should be much better suited by this longer trip. Prince of Love looks the pick of the others , but our idea of the winner is Ahmedy.
