Verdict

Le Deluge would be an apt winner if the forecast rain arrives but it might be worth giving a chance to EXCLUSIVE DIAMOND. David O’Meara won this race a couple of years ago and if his lightly raced filly can transfer some of the ability she has shown on Tapeta, she looks the one to beat. Samsonite continues to drop down the weights without success while L'apogee is tried in cheekpieces in a bid to finally get off the mark. Big Red was unfortunate to come up against an in-form rival at Yarmouth and Paul Mulrennan rates an interesting booking. Neither Jim Goldie or Iain Jardine were able to find the key to Spirit Of The Sea, and having previously put up some of her better performances at this time of year, she could be ready to strike on her first start for Richard Whitaker.
