In depth

Verdict

Pearl Trader looks the best option here ahead of The Riddler and Dubai Land. Mark Johnston's well bred filly showed plenty of ability on her debut when third to Dubai Time. The runner up has gone well since and with most of the yard's juveniles improving from their debut run Pearl Trader looks the one to be on. The Riddler stepped up on his debut run to finish a close second behind Keanes Day. This is a similar event and a big run is expected. Dubai Land has looked very green in two races to date and it would be no surprise to see this one suddenly realise what is required. The best of the rest could be the once raced Bite The Boss, but we expect Pearl Trader to start to live up to her illustrious pedigree and she gets our vote.
