Verdict

There are many to consider here, including Prince Aaron, Zuhair, Full Spate and Mister Mal, but we will side with Type One. Type One is well-handicapped on the best of his overall form and ran well from a mark that is three pounds higher than today's last time. Given that he also has an apprentice that has been catching the eye on his back, then he can go well, although popular wisdom says that it is best to be drawn high in these types of races at Redcar and he is drawn seven of 20. Prince Aaron has improved markedly over this trip on Lingfield's all-weather and, if he can transfer that form to Turf, would be very interesting. Zuhair is on a winning mark and his stable is in good form. Silver Chime is now back to a winning mark but has been disappointing in five runs since that win. Ronny From Donny is quite well-weighted based on his all-weather form, but has only ever won in that sphere, while Full Spate is back to near a winning mark, looks well drawn and comes here in good heart. Mister Mal bounced back to form last time and, drawn well, could go well again, and Tatweer runs quickly under a penalty after scooting home at Newcastle last time, although that success came on heavy. In a competitive race, then, we will side with Type One.
