        Verdict

Pursuing Steed faces a tougher task than when back to winning ways at Doncaster but is still on a decent mark so can’t be ignored. Racemaker won over a mile here last time and is only 2lb higher but he’s only raced over this shorter trip once in the last two years and was well beaten. Kentuckyconnection hasn’t won since making his debut over track and trip in 2015 but there was some promise in a recent run here and Caridade has also won over course and distance. EQUITANT has been beaten the last twice off this mark but has his ground today and a reproduction of his effort at Carlisle in July would put him in the firing-line. Tadaawol also some appeal making a quick reappearance after Saturday’s Chester run.
