        Verdict

        Though Hermana Santa showed promise as a two-year-old, it’s more than a year since David Barron’s filly last saw a racecourse. French import Mambila has an even longer absence to overcome but there is some speed in the pedigree of debutante Majeem. FIELD GUN won in a canter at Chelmsford after chasing home a speedy filly on his debut at Doncaster. He shoulders a penalty here but will likely be a very short price to double his tally. Cape Hill Cotter wasn't disgraced over 5f at Newcastle 11 days ago and should be challenging for a place.
