ASMUND (NAP) won this a year ago and he'll be 7lb better in with Zac Wheatley's claim taken into account. He's a very consistent performer at this level and can go in again. Sassoon, who was well beaten in this last year, has won twice here and returned to form at Ayr while Jkr Cobbler completed a hat-trick there in the summer and has continued to go well at a slightly higher level. Gentle Ellen won an amateurs' race at Hamilton and though just 2lb higher was ridden by a 3lb claimer. Bay Of Hope gained his only success over this track and trip but Caribbean Sunset has only won on the all-weather.
