Verdict

George Scott’s raiders have an excellent strike-rate on this track and LEO DAVINCI, though still a maiden, was a very solid third in a Windsor handicap on heavy going 11 days ago. He is probably the one to beat on that form ahead of Aghast, who failed to follow up his win at Thirsk in April off a higher mark at Nottingham. Beryl The Petal has been knocking on the door but Micronize hasn’t raced since second on Tapeta in January. Chains Of Love won at York last summer and made a promising reappearance at Thirsk but there are going concerns.
