    Verdict

This is a competitive handicap which can go the way of Continent; Mr Wolf, King's Gait and Countdown are others to consider. The selection won well last time when beating High Reach at Thirsk and although he is not the horse that he was in his heyday, he might just be worth siding with now that he has regained the winning thread. Mr Wolf was disappointing last time but that was not his true running and if he can get to the front straight from the stalls then he could take a bit of catching. King's Gait was beaten by the draw at York last time so could be worth another chance, while Countdown is probably better over 7f. With all this in mind we will nominate Continent to make it back-to-back wins.
