In depth
Verdict
Ruby Legend gets the confident vote in this claimer with Rotuma and Apache Point also considered. The selection was a fair third behind Don Pesquale last time out. This represents a drop in class and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Rotuma rates the main danger on his best form but he has become disappointing of late. However he is another dropping in grade and he will like the conditions so with his yard in form he is worth watching in the market. Apache Point is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but his best form is on a faster surface. Ming Vase and Pre Eminance have had plenty of chances and have shown little of late but Ruby Legend showed enough last time to make him the one to beat today.
