Verdict
An interesting little handicap where Our Sheila is an obvious choice to complete the hat-trick, with Our Mary, Maison Dieu and Moonstreaker others to have a look at. The selection has enjoyed successive wins over this trip at Catterick in the past month and Bryan Smart's runners continue to go well. She is only up 3lb for those two wins but in a relatively uncompetitive event she can prevail. Maison Dieu proved he likes the track when second over c&d to Westport last time out and handles fast ground well enough that day, so can't be discounted. Our Mary would have a squeak based on her running in a claimer at Southwell from this mark two starts back, but Moonstreaker could be the big danger to the selection. Richard Whitaker's runners are in fine form and this gelding is dropped back to 6f for the first time here, but is related to a sprinting winner at 3 and handles this sort of ground, so he should be thereabouts. Preference however is for Our Sheila to complete a hat-trick.
