    Verdict

A poor contest where it's hard to enthuse about many of them and we will take Sawwaah to score from Art Elegant and Downland. Dandy Nicholls applies first-time cheekpieces to Sawwaah here and hopefully that will help to do the trick for a horse that has won from a mark of 76 in the past and gets in off 5lb lower here. Fast ground and this trip suits and he can take advantage. Art Elegant is in good form and won over a mile at Carlisle two starts ago before the handicapper caught up with him at Beverley last time. He remains on the same mark as that defeat and it will be a tricky task for him to go in again. Downland won over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and can be competitive off this mark, though his previous attempts on firm ground have met with sound defeats and he may have to wait longer for another win, so we take Sawwaah to score.
