Verdict
This looks moderate so it could signal another victory for Charlie Appleby via the newcomer SECOND WAVE, who is a half-brother to three winners and should be suited by the trip. Beach Samba looks the best of those with form though he disappointed when favourite at Newcastle where the ground could have been too fast. Cyril was friendless in the market on his Wolverhampton debut but defied the odds with a very good run and will have come on a bundle for the experience. Montefalcon made his debut over 5f at Pontefract in April and hasn't been seen since. His dam has produced winners with her first two foals so he's one to keep an eye on.
