In depth
Verdict
A number have revealed significant improvement as they've stepped up in trip. Bill Cody is one such contender who landed a course and distance victory on his first venture over this trip the last day and should be in the mix again having been only raised 3lb. Similar comments are applicable to Hot Off The Press who notched a first career success when upped to this trip at Wolverhampton and is another only raised 3lb with Hollie Doyle booked. Eyecatcher gained a deserved success when scoring neatly at Ripon and is respected despite asked to concede considerable weight to his prime rivals, including THE KNOT IS TIED. Tim Easterby's charge is a real staying type and he'll set out to make this a real test at some stage. He impressed here the last day and is given the nod in a competitive heat.
