Verdict
Peace Flag should be good enough to take this at the expense of Medusa and Silver Chime. John Gosden's filly actually won a race last year, but as that carried no prize money she is still qualified to run in maidens. She was a warm favourite but just held in second at Nottingham last time, and if anything this looks a weaker race, so she is confidently fancied to officially get off the mark here under Franny Norton. Medusa was disappointing in handicap company at Newbury last time, but had showed ability when placed in a couple of maidens before that, and this Emperor Jones filly should be good enough to reach the frame at least. The majority of the opposition look exposed, with the exception of Silver Chime, who was green and backward when third on her only start last year and could be capable of a lot better.
