        Verdict

        A difficult race to get to grips with opens the card at Redcar and although Summer Shades is very much respected back against her own sex, she has to concede plenty of weight today. So Mellino looks to be the pick on these terms today. Shirley Collins and Quick Flight appear to be the best of the rest in the run for the places. However, Mellino has hinted that her turn is not too far away in her last two outings and she can make the most of what looks to be a lenient mark of 62 today. The ex-Irish Landofheartsdesire has become something of an enigma but cannot be ruled out of stealing a place if she runs up to her best.
