        Verdict

        Acrux is top-rated but he's in poor form and finished last in a claimer here earlier this month. Beauden Barrett was twice narrowly beaten at this level at Wolverhampton in the early part of the year though this is the first time EPONINA has run at this lowly level and she may be good enough. Her overall form on the all-weather puts her right in the picture and she was staying on over 6f at Southwell last time. Warrior's Spirit hasn't made progress since his juvenile victory at Newbury while Someone Exciting was well beaten at Musselburgh last time.
