        In depth

        Verdict

        Tim Easterby has won this three times in the past nine years and Lever Du Soleil has looked ready for a step-up to this sort of trip in his last two starts. The stable also run Surrender, who is by Sixties Icon but has shown nothing over shorter so far. Wallflower has a stout middle-distance pedigree and was noted going on at the finish over 1m4f at Lingfield and can't go any lower in the ratings. HIGHLAND SKY cost a whopping €360,000 and is related to three winners, one of them a hurdler. He's making his handicap debut at the top of the weights but this is a poor race and he will have found a mile too short on his reappearance. Sincerely Resdev ran over the trip at Wetherby last time and wasn't stopping at the finish and he looks better than his returning stable companion Jaycols Star at this stage.
