Verdict
This is wide open and ROYAL COMPOSER gets the tentative vote over Elkhorn, Future Gem and Conjecture. Tim Easterby has been in red hot form in the last few days and Royal Composer ran well when he finished third behind Nufoudh at Catterick. He has a good draw here and he should run a big race. Elkhorn has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his effort here two starts ago would make him a leading player. Future Gem beat Nimmy's Special at Carlisle last week and that form has since been franked. She would have a chance, along with Conjecture who could have an each-way shout. A tough race to work out and the vote goes to Royal Composer.
