Mr Mischief is in good form at present and can land this weak event from Crownfield and Prairie Sun. Pat Haslam's five-year-old returns from a successful spell over hurdles, which yielded a recent victory at Wetherby. There was no disgrace in his subsequent run at Ludlow when third to the impressive Phar Out Phavourite. He returns to the flat on a fair mark and should be suited by the trip and the going. Crownfield is less exposed than most and should step up on recent fifth behind Queens Dancer at Carlisle. Prairie sun has to be a danger to all having landed a hat-trick of victories. The handicapper may now have him in his grasp but he should still be capable of taking a hand in the finish. Best of the rest could be Hernando's Boy but Mr Mischief looks the pick of the weights today and gets our vote.
